Special Event on Campus: The Washington State High School Powerlifting Meet will be hosted at Northwest Christian High School.

This event is open to the general public. If you've never seen a powerlifting contest, come enjoy this sports event as you'll never forget it. Come Support-a-Kid!  You'll see the top 100 strongest boys & top 80 strongest girls in the Washington State competing for the title of "State Champion" . . . you'll see the Montesano High School boys team defending their 9 year consecutive team titles . . . you'll see state records being set . . . you'll see squats exceeding 600 or 700 lbs., bench presses exceeding 350-400 lbs., and who knows how much on the deadlift? Medals will be awarded for places 1st through 6th for individuals as well as team trophies for 1st through 3rd.

When? Saturday, May 12, 2012 . . . Lifting begins at 10am and will continue until all the records are set.

Admission: $4 General Public or $2 (with ASB card from any high school)
